I have decided that this year that I won’t be a Scrooge for the holiday season, maybe I’m ill, anyway here are some photos of my decorated room, Sheldon’s scarf and hat were made by my great friend Kylie from Not Even a Bag of Sugar, photoshopping by me.
I decided to add rounded corners to the site, I thought all I’d need was a simple WordPress plugin, of course it wasn’t quite that easy, turns out some CSS inserts were needed, after that things snowballed a bit and I ended up updating WordPress and the Atahualpa theme too. The style is a bit[…]
As you probably know I am trying to raise money for a new wheelchair, the NHS are still being stubborn so my neighbours have offered to set up a fundraising event, it has got much larger than I expected and they are doing an excellent job. I decided I’d tweet some of my followers from[…]
It’s Harrison’s 6th Birthday today, please watch his video at Harrison’s Fund and consider supporting him in his fight with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I hope he has a long, great life, even without a cure it’s possible to live long and well, but I do hope a cure can be found so his life is easier than[…]

We at the Free Earth Foundation apologise for the recent downtime on WorldWind Central, we had a pretty bad crash and lost our RAID array, our server admin f0urtyfive did some great work in recovering data from a damaged disk. We have lost about one week of forum posts unfortunately but should be back up[…]
Our server admin has been hard at work and has managed to get an image off our RAID array, he is currently copying all 4 TB of it and will then try to mount it, if all goes well we can get the forum back up soon.
The World Wind Central server has been removed from the data center and will be shipped overnight to one of our server administrators who will attempt to recover any data, we will be back up as soon as possible, again we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused by this downtime.
I apologise on behalf of FEF for World Wind Central and Madmappers being down, our RAID array has failed, I don’t have much information but we are working on getting something sorted as soon as possible.
