We at the Free Earth Foundation apologise for the recent downtime on WorldWind Central, we had a pretty bad crash and lost our RAID array, our server admin f0urtyfive did some great work in recovering data from a damaged disk. We have lost about one week of forum posts unfortunately but should be back up[…]
Our server admin has been hard at work and has managed to get an image off our RAID array, he is currently copying all 4 TB of it and will then try to mount it, if all goes well we can get the forum back up soon.
The World Wind Central server has been removed from the data center and will be shipped overnight to one of our server administrators who will attempt to recover any data, we will be back up as soon as possible, again we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused by this downtime.
I apologise on behalf of FEF for World Wind Central and Madmappers being down, our RAID array has failed, I don’t have much information but we are working on getting something sorted as soon as possible.

Nowak is no longer system administrator for World Wind Central so the[…]
