Our server admin has been hard at work and has managed to get an image off our RAID array, he is currently copying all 4 TB of it and will then try to mount it, if all goes well we can get the forum back up soon.

I just got an email from Patrick Hogan letting me know some NASA World Wind servers will be down between Friday Aug 7th afternoon (PST) and Sunday Aug 9th midnight, this may or may not have any affect on World Wind, but if it goes slow or you get strange errors please be patient.
The World Wind .NET placefinder is now working again, one of our domain names needed to be renewed, there is still a problem with the virtual earth search but that needs a developer to fix, there seems to be a change in how requests work on Microsoft’s end.
I don’t have any details yet but WorldWind Central and all our other servers are back up.
